Wow! I have never seen anything like this. What is it's habitat?
I'm glad you asked, 2526. These orchids flourish abundantly in August along the ridge trail on Bote Mountain, GSMNP, at an elevation of about 3000 feet. But I also discovered them at Cataloochee and Cherokee. I love the mountain orchids!
